Biomass Catalysts Database (BCD) is an open-access online database for catalysts that are used in biomass renewable energy. BCD is created by the Xiao Research Group at the University of New Haven in 2014. Biomass renewable energy aims to convert the non-food biomass (e.g., dead woods, dried crops, or paper wastes) into useful chemical fuels. This can not only alleviate our reliance on fosil fuels such as crude oils, but also reduce the production of the green-house gas carbon dioxide.

You can deposite your discoved catalysts into the database and search for the target catalysts using the database. We accept donations for the development of this database to provide high-quality services to people around the world.
